negative campaigning

Negative campaigning annoys me.

The tories have a sequence of billboards, one asks “How hard is it to keep a ward clean?”, If i worked in a hospital this would be a sure fire vote loser for me, in fact it has cemented my distaste for the party of snobs.

IT IS BLOODY HARD TO KEEP A HOSPITAL CLEAN YOU PILLOCKS!

Keeping a building that has 100’s of people coming in and out, every illness imaginable, clinically clean IS difficult… jeeeebus it makes me mad, they are effectively dissing all those poor hard working souls who work keeping hospitals clean.

Negative Campaigning is proven in studies as being most effective at decreasing votes for your opposition BUT it turns off voters from voting at all

Voter turn out is likely to be very low, thanks to the pointless sound bite chasing of the idiots in red + blue. I don’t trust either of them with this country anymore. I for one am going to vote for those guys who seem to have something constructive to say, the REAL alternative in my mind.

Feel free to leave a comment and tell me what you think.

To be fair it isn’t, it’s just about employing enough cleaners to do the cleaning, enough nurses so they have enough time to use basic techniques to avoid cross contamination and make sure there are people there with responsibility to ensure jobs are being done properly…

It really isn’t rocket science but is difficult in an underfunded NHS that is more worried about performance targets than looking after patients…

Right can someone help me down from this soap box please…….
