The internet… is celebrating OneWebDay

A day of how the internet has changed your world…

What has the internet done for me?
A myspace page that connected me to my musical heros…

A blog to unload my head into and stay in touch with my friends and family around the world…
A place to upload video clips from my mobile…

A site to share photos and chat about clubbing with like minded people…
Instant Messaging and Email to keep me in touch with people all over the world in seconds..

A podcast so my radio show is no longer confined to Bournemouth…

A place to find out anything about anything!

Yeah… useless invention really…

I remember my first email account, I knew 2 people on email at the time… my Uncle Paul who worked for an electronics/tech company and my mate Jon Skeet… I still remember the phonecall..

L: My email address is blablabla funny squiggle symbol..

J: thats an “at” symbol

L: oh ok blablabla AT bournemouth full stop..
J: You say that “dot”

L: uh, ok… blablabla AT bournemouth dot… ac dot uk
ah… how far we’ve come… I bet no one would say full stop now… idiotboy…
