First up today, thank you to everyone who made this a really special birthday. Saturday was awesome, my actual birthday was cool and I had some amazing (and suitably random) presents.

Anyway, the big three oh is done with now, I’m soooo over it.

Time to get on and get things moving…

I realised last night, I don’t want to do this job anymore it doesn’t help me towards any parts of the plan for my personal development. I’ll work hard at it for now – but carry on applying for other jobs.

…Ah, that song conjuors up weird memories of being 16 in hospital… 3 days before christmas when they cut my appendix out.

There was a guy opposite me who’d lost all his limbs to smoking 1 by 1 (and still kept smoking!). I had some really good chats with this guy, he knew his number was up but didn’t care. He taught me that life is what you make it, it’s always going to change, throw things in your way and it’s how you choose to deal with them that defines you as a person.

So, life’s thrown me a whole load of curve balls to deal with at once and I’m gonna step up n whack ’em into the bay. (San Fran stadium analogy, bit random… sorry)
