what is classical?
Today I’ve been listening to a (fairly random) selection of music off my computer (mainly music bought from the fantastic beatport.com)… amongst these pieces of music is the epic genius of Hybrid’s “Finished Symphony”.
Does this mean I like classical music?
Lets look at the evidence…
- It’s called “finished symphony“
- It has a classical style arrangement
- The main instruments used are orchestral (strings in particular)
puzzler…. what is “classical” then? Is this not classical because it has a breakbeat pattern?
I’ve never really been one for putting music into genres anyway.
