Raaaaaaaaaa!

I’m working on getting a new routine going, waking earlier and exercising more to give me more energy.

It’s working well.

As part of my new start, I’m researching and writing a series of articles. Whilst reading about motivation I found this quote which, well frankly, says everything I want to… I don’t think I could put it any better so here it is:

‘Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone
else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living
with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the
noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice.

And most important, have the courage to follow your heart
and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly
want to become.

Everything else is secondary.’

  1. Easy comments for a multi-billionaire to make don’t you think. I wonder if he’d say the same thing if he wasn’t so successful? There’s plenty of skint people out there who’ve followed their dreams who may not share the same view.

  2. I’d argue that he wouldn’t of been this successful if he hadn’t adopted such a way of thinking. The article showed that this had been his guiding philosophy from day 1… ie when he wasn’t rich he’d used this mantra to drive him forwards.

  3. “Your time is limited, so so don?t waste it living someone
else?s life” – unfortunately when you have a mortgage to pay and a child to rear these decisions can’t be taken so lightly!

It reminds me of when you hear these fantastically wealthy sports stars, celebs, royalty etc saying that “money’s not important to me”… well if I was a millionaire I could probably say that too.

  4. “And most important, have the courage to follow your heart
and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly
    want to become.”

I like that – I think he has a point, even if he is greedy and loaded!

  5. To have considerations and responsibilies, does not mean you have to be paralysed by the fear of failure, nor should it prevent you from living each day to its fullest.

  6. Clap trap…. but your entitled to your opinion. It’s your blog after all! 😉
