What is this website?

This is a weblog (aka a blog) written by a guy called Luke

A blog… WHY??

Well, I decided to start this blog for 3 reasons:

1) I wanted a place online to easily vent some of things that bounce around my head.

2) To help accelerate my personal development, you see, I’m on a mission to make more of my life and it had stalled… I’m writing this blog so that I can track how I’m getting on now, no matter where I am.

3) Its kind of a diary, which is theraputic to write.

Under each entry on my blog you’ll see a bit that says comments () click this to make a comment on anything I’ve written or just to leave me a message.

The email address is not stored, displayed on the site or used in any way other than to allow me a way to reply directly to you if I so choose.

Technical type stuff…

I put together this site using Wordpress and Simple PHP Gallery (which I then had to modify to make it fit)

Worpress Plugins in use are:
Customizable comment listings
Random Quotes
RSS feed parser - with some modifications to the code
SpreadThis - modified to add functionality and simplify use

When I’m out n about, I use Shrink Pictures to resize images to make them fit, handy simple, free site.

XSPF (XML Playlist) MusicPlayer from Fabricio Zuardi - modified and recompiled by me, if you want one of my versions - no right click options other than play etc. I’ve made two versions: one with download possible / one with it switched off - drop me a line using the form below.
