doh… thats another £2 to charity

I failed, twice this weekend in my mission to have a year without using new plastic bags.

#1 went to wilko (woop) and Lidl (I love lidl) with a reusable bag… no problem there, except I needed some cleaning stuff, so I had to resort to using a new carrier bag to separate them from the foodstuffs = bugger £1

#2 walking in town later on, I realised I’d forgotten to buy a couple of things I needed for the flat… I then find myself in a dilemma… do i buy the items and stick another quid in the pot… or set a reminder to get them another day when i have a bag? = another £1 to charity

I was doing so well! it’d been nearly a month since I last used one. Must add up the pot, see how many bags I’ve used in 3 months… ooh a Q1 review! Bum, that reminds me its time for end of year stuff…

UPDATED: Q1 review = £10 that’s not bad

Alien ear implants

Well, maybe…

I’ve got this lump in my left ear lobe, its really annoying (when DJing) and quite painful – I can’t work out what it is, so it must be some sort of alien tracking device.

I confirmed this theory, when my friend Adam said he had one too and try as hard as he could, it wouldn’t come out.

Hmmmm…. SO, what are the mystery lumps?

They’re not spots, I don’t think its glass (although when i had a bit of glass in my hand years ago, that’s the nearest similar feeling, I’m pretty sure I’d remember and notice borken glass entering my ear lobe!)… double hmmm…

THEN it was further confirmed when John said he had one too!!!

If I disappear, it looks likely the aliens took me and I’d been tracked by the thing in my ear.

send in the FEDS well… navy anyway

I had some weird things happening whilst doing some design work tonight (in firefox), I switched across to IE and it stalled – note the IP:

spies in the navy

I used who.is to check the domain was google (in case of spyware had snuck in somehow) and found this:

Now that weirded me out.

So I ran a tracert to see what showed up and that was clear, I googled the base above (it’s a biggy btw – the Commander Navy Installation Command).

Closed IE, had a glass of water… got a bit paranoid… then confused – were they looking at me, or was it some weird anomaly?

Went back to do a tracert to my server and it was normal…

reloaded IE and FF – both worked as normal… by my maths the whole thing from first noticing weirdness to ti not seeming to happen anymore took about 30mins.

PLEASE can anyone tell me wtf (sorry mum, but its a def. wtf moment) this was all about?

So, feds, Mi5, spooks, navy – if you want to ask me something, please do so.

If it’s a weird net anomaly, bleedin nora – spooky as heck.

I need some herbal tea now.
