First of all, don’t forget to show your support in taking down this evil money making corporation (it’s NOT a religion, it’s a sci-fi story / pyramid scheme) - sign the petitions against scientology.

The demonstrations to raise awareness kicked off in Australia and then were even bigger (epic win) in London today. See videos on youtube of the london raid.

I think it’s interesting how little UK media is covering this story, I guess because they’re scared of getting sued… the BBC had a run in and well, they must be nervous of running a story again - that is exactly the problem with scientology, it’s a big nasty litigious business, not a religion.

Gaaaaahhhhhh :: pain type annoyed noise ::

The surgery or boots has messed up my repeat prescription, so I’ve had to go from the elephant tranquillizing ones down to ibuprofen for today and tomo… not good. (yes I could do a call out on my surgery but I can survive)

My movement is already reduced loads, at this rate I won’t be able to walk to the pharmacy on Monday! - it took long enough today and I had to stop on the way home and sit on the wall for a bit (if you’ve never seen my flat… it’s normally a 2minute walk).

It’s so frustrating!!!!

I don’t know why but I keep hearing a quote from a film (maybe pulp fiction?) “Feel that pain? That’s pride f***ing with ya” - I really want to do things myself but I’m approaching that point again where I probably should ask for help. Stupid Reiter’s Syndrome!

It’s affecting my sleep again quite badly which is making it harder for me to focus on work, although I’m still determined to finish the site rebuild and final draft for release on Thursday… more important though… I don’t want to be an invalid when I go see Lucy

I still eagerly await the day that OpenID and OpenAuth kick all these proprietary walled garden sites into the dust… I see microsoft and yahoo have now signed up to OpenID. (I’ll be implementing the OpenID wordpress plug in for my galleries soon, btw)

It seemed necessary to sign up, to help promote the book (you’ll see an RSS feed for the book on my facebook page)… and well… if I’m gonna be on there I might as well have a badge on here, saves me using a twitter widget to do a status update type thing.

Ooooh this sites kinda drifted very “web 2.0″ recently… not that I’m convinced that there is such a “thing”…

Social Bookmarking buttons… curved borders… social networking integration… xspf playlist MP3 players… status updates… RSS feeds… now all I need is some ajax and a mirrored style logo!

EDIT: haha - made it as a joke… and actually quite like it might stick it up the top for a bit!

Happy New Year of the Rat for tomo everyone!

The annual ridiculously loud firecrackers and “mummy, mummy I saw a dragon” has begun… it usually lasts for 3 nights (before, on and after chinese new year) round these parts… the local good chinese puts it on every year… I went a couple of years ago the meal was amazing!

Tonight was funnier though…

the firecrackers and dragon scared the living bejeeebus out of three winos who were sat on a wall opposite… ear-splitting firecrackers.. a 6 legged dragon and loud drumming. Damned funny.

In honour of this New Year, I thought I’d have a new crazy look for aLUKEonLIFE… ta da… not 100% happy with it yet, but need to get on with some work and make sure I get the book out next week.

Also added some cool little social bookmarking type icons, if you want to know more about these I wrote a post here about it.

              

It continues… with a few casualties already (one anon arrested).. including allegedly Katie Holmes leaving Tom (early reports)… some reports suggest a CoS in Calgary, Canada has closed its doors due to the campaign…

• Investigate Scientology for Minimum Wage violations
