drifter

damn it, i’ve been drifting along a bit the last few weeks… I think the problem is, I’d got used to working again (ie a 9-5 type “real” job) and now I’m my own boss I’d lost that time managment discipline I used to have… add in a few distractions (funerals, refurnishing, NLP course… hot women) and voila, my times been drifting away.

NO MORE!

(Hmmm deja vu, on this post…)

I’ve re-hashed my old system and with a bit of perseverance I’ll be back to my old self.

NLP course, done n dusted :D so for all future correspondence, if you could please now use:

Mister Luke Adam Williams B.Sc. (hons) Dip SLC DCMT Master Pract NLP :D :D :D

Bournemouth Pier to Pier swim update

Woop woooop! I’m quite proud of myself today… for the first time I’ve stepped up to 80 lengths non-stop in the pool, which is 1 & 1/4 miles!

The next milestone will be 96 lengths (2 weeks) which is the actual distance I need to swim in the sea… ooooohhhh….

The best bit was, even though this is the first time I’ve done this distance non-stop, I felt like I had more left (which was not the case the first few times I swam 64 non-stop!!)… hopefully a sign that the other training and tweaked diet IS effecting the swimming… winner!

Now, you tight bar-stewards… sponsor me!!! >>>>>>>>>>>> (please) >>>>>>>>>>

Yes, I actually went to the cinema!!! Dum dum duuuuhh… I know!

Went to see Alpha Dog, feckin great film. A california gangsta flick with very worthy performances from Bruce Willis, Sharon Stone and.. yes… I was impressed… Justin Timberlake (plus the others whos names I don’t know!).

There were some really funny moments, which I wasn’t expecting and its a really good story.

st george’s day

It aint gonna happen is it? As much as I HATE the fact we don’t celebrate our patron saint, another bank holiday between easter and the 2 in may just doesn’t seem likely to me!

Well, I’m off out for a very English (and herefordian) cider or two!

my mistress

It’s been a long love afair since my dad first introduced us about 12 years ago in Gloucester.

She’s beautiful, we’ve been to many places together and after she got a bit injured on friday, whilst out for a ride, I realised I hadn’t given her the attention she deserved recently.

So today I treated her to a full clean and some new tyres… isn’t she pretty:
