Yep, I think it’s pretty fair to say “fur is murder”…
the thought that 100’s of moles are killed to make moleskin trousers is just nasty…
100’s of mink trapped for mink jackets is pretty wrong…
although, I own a leather jacket.
okay, so it’s probably only 1 cow… who, lets face it, probably made about 1000 bigmacs as well as a few belts, some gelatin (cow stomach) for sweets and some glue from his hoofs (or is that horses?)
Does that make it ok? Or am I a hypocrit for thinking fur is wrong but leather is ok? Hmmm teaser that one.
I think I can justify myself by saying that the cow is pretty much:
1) not endagered
2) domestically reared
3) widely used for all of its parts thereby NOT using the hide would be a waste
